- Dr. Erchull will be talking about how to write an academic resume known as a curriculum vitae (C/V). C/V’s are different than normal resumes, and are more appropriate when applying to psychology graduate programs. If you are planning to apply to graduate school, come learn what a C/V is and what needs to be on it!
- Psi Chi National Undergraduate Research Grant deadline - November 1, 2010
- All Member Meeting - November 11, 2010
- Fall Service Project - Saturday, November 6th from 11 am to 4 pm in room 304
- Psi Chi officers and members will be making cards to send to soldiers overseas (we are sponsoring a unit led by a Mary Washington alum) and children with terminal illnesses. There will be food and drinks provided for all who join!

- Career Forum - February 17, 2011
- The Psi Chi officers invite psychology alumni who are pursuing careers in a variety of psychology fields to come talk about their experiences in the current job market. We aspire to have at least 5 people come discuss their psychology careers, and the format of the career forum is a question and answer panel session. The members of the panel are TBD.

- Spring Induction Ceremony - March 10, 2011
- Each semester our Mary Washington Psi Chi chapter inducts new members who have met the necessary requirements for membership. Our induction speaker for the spring is TBD. Food, punch, and cake will be waiting for the inductees, current members, and professors in attendance after the induction ceremony.

- 3rd Annual Potluck Dinner - April 3, 2011
- Psi Chi officers and members are all invited to a potluck dinner! There will also (hopefully) be fun outdoor activities planned. So bring a dish, bring a friend, and come hang out with your fellow Psi Chi members!
- VPA Convention (Hot Springs, VA) - April 13-15, 2011
- 26th Annual Psi Chi Symposium - April 21-22, 2011
- Every year at the Psi Chi symposium psychology students have the opportunity to present their research to their professors and their peers. There will be poster sessions for research methods students and formal talks for upper-level lab projects and 491 research teams. Every year a speaker is also brought in from another school to discuss their own research. This will be the first year that the speaker, Dr. Alexandra Rutherford (York University, Toronto), is not only from a different state, but a different country as well!
