New Website is Live!
This semester the Psychology Department has worked to develop and deploy a brand new website. This website will remain active to serve the purpose of redirecting people for another month, but as of this summer the transition to the other website will be complete. 2012 Psi Chi Symposium Keynote Speaker Announced
For our 27th annual Psi Chi Symposium, our keynote speaker will be Dr. Ted Dumas from George Mason University. He will be giving a talk entitled "Boundaries: When one stops and another begins." Please join us in welcoming him on Thursday, April 19th and Friday, April 20th!
NECC Information
To learn more about the New England Center for Children download the description. To apply to the NECC, you must complete the application in full. To participate in the program for Fall of 2012, the application must be turned in by February 24th. Applicants should contact Dr. Liss at mliss@umw.edu.
Psych Snow Blitz!
The Psychology department will be holding its annual Snow Blitz Party Friday, December 9th at 7pm. The exact location is still being determined.Attire is casual and tickets will go on sale soon through the psych reps as well as Jean Bennett.

The Psychology Department's 2010-2011 491 Research Teams attended the annual meeting of the Virginia Psychological Association at the Homestead in Hot Springs, VA. Everyone had a wonderful time and did a great job presenting their research!

New Internships Available
New internships at Lighthouse Counseling, Behavioral Healthcare of Fredericksburg, Behavioral Consulting Services and Childhelp have been added to the Internships page. An updated listing of approved CSL sites has been added to the CSL page as well.
